Free tool · See your estimate before we ask for anything
Know what your project should cost before you talk to anyone.
Describe the business problem in plain language. In about three minutes you'll have a preliminary technical blueprint: recommended approach, planning-level cost and timeline ranges, and an honest comparison of four ways to get it delivered.
Planning estimates, not quotes. How the estimates work
How it works
Three minutes of questions. A blueprint you can act on.
1. Describe the problem
Pick a project type and explain what’s not working in your own words — no technical language needed.
2. Answer what’s left
AI reads your description and pre-fills what it can, so you only answer the questions that still matter. "Not sure" is always an option.
3. Get the blueprint
Scope, complexity, cost and timeline ranges, a four-way delivery comparison, and a recommended next step.
What you get
A real planning document, not a lead-capture teaser.
Every section is generated from your answers by a deterministic estimation engine, with AI writing the narrative around it.
Recommended approach
A phased plan starting from the highest-pain step, with an honest build-vs-buy call.
Scope, prioritized
What to build first, what can wait, and what to leave out of a V1 entirely.
Planning-level cost ranges
Deterministic ranges from a configurable estimation engine — not a number a chatbot made up.
Four-way delivery comparison
The same scope priced as a 2023-era build, a U.S. agency today, an offshore team, and Atlas AI-assisted delivery.
Timeline by phase
Discovery through launch, in weeks — with the unknowns that could move it called out.
An honest next step
Sometimes that’s "use an off-the-shelf tool" or "don’t build this yet." The recommendation follows the analysis, not the sales pitch.
Why AI changes the economics
The same scope costs less to deliver than it did in 2023.
AI acceleration compresses scaffolding, implementation, testing, and documentation — the repeatable parts of a build. It doesn't remove discovery, architecture, or judgment. Every blueprint shows the same scope priced with and without that acceleration, so you can see exactly where the difference comes from.
FAQ
Common questions
The short version: it's free, the numbers are deterministic, and you see your estimate before we ask for anything.
Is this a quote?
No. It’s a planning estimate built from your answers and published assumptions. The Atlas figures are anchored to our own published package prices, so the tool won’t quote you something we don’t actually charge. Final scope, cost, and timeline always require human review — the blueprint says so on every page.
How are the numbers calculated?
Your answers select a specific feature list, each carrying an effort band. Those hours are summed, overheads are added as a share of them, complexity and integration difficulty scale the result, and four delivery models price the same scope. Every feature in your blueprint shows the hours it contributed, so you can see what you’d save by dropping one. AI helps interpret your description and write the narrative, but it never invents the numbers. There’s a full explainer linked from every blueprint.
Do I have to give you my email?
Not to see your results. The executive summary, recommended approach, scope, and investment range appear immediately with no contact details. Your work email unlocks the deeper analysis — the four-way delivery comparison, phase-by-phase timeline, complexity drivers, and full risk assessment — and gets you a permanent copy.
Will Atlas always recommend hiring Atlas?
No — and that’s deliberate. If your answers point to an off-the-shelf product, a well-managed offshore team, or not building yet, that’s what the blueprint says.
What happens to my data?
Assessments you don’t claim are deleted automatically after 30 days. If you claim your blueprint, we keep it to deliver the email and follow up if you asked us to. Details are in our privacy policy.
